Frequently asked questions

What’s included in my ticket?

Your ticket grants you full access to all conference sessions and every included workshop at Connect To Empower. During workshop times, the group will be guided through the schedule—sometimes split into two for smaller workshop groups—but everyone will take part in each offering over the course of the event so you won’t miss out on any of the magic.

Included in your ticket:

  • Access to all Connect To Empower conference sessions

  • Participation in every included workshop (attendees move through the entire program together, only splitting into smaller groups for some workshops so all experience every offering)

 

Not included (arranged independently by you):

  • Travel to and from the event

  • Hotel accommodations or other lodging

  • Lunch and dinner during the event (ample breaks are built into the schedule for meals and personal time)

  • Additional personal expenses

 

Bonus:
If you are staying at our hosting hotel, the Drury Plaza, you can enjoy complimentary daily breakfast as part of your hotel package—a great way to start your day with fellow attendees! 

 

Lunch and dinner are not provided by the conference, but you’ll have enough time each day to enjoy local dining, spend time with new friends, or relax as you wish.

Can I make a partial payment?

There are two options for payment at checkout: you can use a debit/credit card or PayPal.

 

If you have a PayPal account, you may be offered the PayPal Pay Later option, which allows you to make a partial payment. However, this varies by region and account, so it would be determined by your location and use of PayPal; they would be the ones to determine if it is available for you or not.

 

Unfortunately, we do not have any alternative method for making a partial payment on tickets. 

Oh NO! The event is sold out, is there a waitlist?

Absolutely! Because Connect To Empower has sold out so quickly the last two years, we maintain a waitlist for those who wish to attend but couldn’t secure a ticket in time.

To join the waitlist, simply email us at info@susanlynnmedium.com and put "C2E Wait List" in the subject line. If a spot opens up, we’ll contact you right away.

​

Don’t lose hope—we’d love for you to be part of the event and will do our best to offer a spot if one becomes available!

What is the event schedule?

Connect To Empower features a vibrant schedule designed to inspire, connect, and empower participants over multiple days.

 

The official kickoff is 8 AM on Thursday, November 13, 2025, and will continue with engaging sessions and special activities through 9 PM on Saturday, November 15, 2025.

Throughout the event, you can look forward to:

Fun and informative activities are planned each day, making every moment meaningful. The detailed event schedule, including specific times and session topics, will be provided at check-in and available in your welcome packet.

How will I get my ticket?

Your ticket will be sent to you as a PDF attachment in your confirmation email. Please bring this ticket with you—either displayed on your mobile device or as a printed copy—when you arrive at the event.

Our team will verify your ticket at check-in and you’ll receive your welcome packet!

After You Register: Ticket Inclusions & Hotel Booking

Congratulations on registering for Connect To Empower!

Your ticket gives you full access to all conference sessions and workshops. Attendees will move through the program together (sometimes splitting into smaller groups for workshops), and everyone will get to participate in every session offered.

​

What’s not included: Travel, hotel, and lunches or dinners are not covered, so you’ll need to arrange these separately. Ample lunch and dinner breaks are built into the schedule. AND if you choose to stay at the host hotel, you’ll receive complimentary daily breakfast.

We recommend reserving your hotel as soon as possible to guarantee your spot at the best rate. 

Are we required to stay at the event hotel?

Not at all! You are absolutely welcome to choose any accommodation that best fits your needs and preferences.

​

Whether you’re local, staying with friends, or exploring a unique spot in the area, you’re encouraged to join us at the event each day—no matter where you rest your head at night.

​

Our community is all about connection, so wherever you decide to stay, you’ll be warmly welcomed each day at the event. If you have any questions about directions, parking, or logistics, just let us know. We can’t wait to see you!

When are hotel check-in and check-out?

If you’re staying at the Drury Plaza Hotel—where the Connect To Empower conference is hosted—check-in is at 3:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM.

 

Please plan your arrival and departure accordingly so you can make the most of your event experience. If you need an early check-in or a late check-out, just ask at the front desk—they’ll do their best to accommodate you!

I’m attending solo—are there roommate options?

We love that you’re joining us and want you to feel right at home! While we don’t have a formal roommate-matching program, our private 2025 C2E Attendee Community, hosted on Mighty Networks, is the perfect place to connect, make new friends, and perhaps find someone to share a room (and maybe a few laughs) with.

 

Once you’re registered, you’ll get access to this welcoming group, where attendees—including Susan and all our wonderful speakers—gather to share their excitement, swap tips, and support each other before the event even begins.

​

If you’re interested in teaming up with another solo traveler, just introduce yourself and put the word out in the community. You never know who you’ll meet! The magic of these events is the connections you make—sometimes even before you arrive. All roommate arrangements are up to you, so reach out, connect, and create the experience that feels best for you.

​

We can’t wait to see the friendships that blossom and the memories you’ll create together!

Will food and beverages be available?

If you’re staying at the Drury Plaza Hotel, you’ll enjoy a complimentary hot breakfast each morning. In the evenings, the hotel offers its “5:30 Kickback” with hot food and cold beverages, so you can relax and connect with others after a day of learning and growth. For detailed menus and timing, please visit the hotel’s website.

The hotel also has a restaurant on-site, and there are plenty of dining options within walking distance for you to explore. Throughout the event, we encourage you to enjoy meals together—connecting with like-minded people is one of our main goals, and the schedule includes ample time for shared meals and conversation!

Can I park at the event?

Yes, parking is available at the Drury Inn, located at 828 Paseo de Peralta, Santa Fe, NM 87501, right in the heart of historic downtown. Please note that parking is limited and there is a $12.00 per car, per day parking fee. This applies to both overnight and daytime guests.

​

If you require overnight parking or if you’re not staying at the hotel but plan to park for the event, please check with the hotel or visit their website for additional parking details and options. We recommend arriving early to ensure you secure a spot. If you have any specific accessibility or parking concerns, feel free to contact the hotel directly for assistance.

Is there an airport shuttle?

There is not a hotel shuttle to or from the airport.

 

To travel between Santa Fe Airport (SAF) and the Drury Plaza Hotel, your best options are taxi, Uber, or Lyft. The ride is generally about 16 minutes and costs around $21–$26. You’ll need to arrange this transportation independently.

 

Flying into Albuquerque? No problem! Here are several travel options to make the trip to Santa Fe hassle-free:

​

  • Rental Car – Interstate 25: The drive from Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ) to Santa Fe via I-25 N is the fastest, taking about 1 hour.

    • Turquoise Trail Scenic Byway (NM-14): For a more scenic route, NM-14 takes you through charming towns like Golden, Madrid, and Cerrillos. The drive is roughly 50 miles and a bit longer than the freeway, but offers beautiful views and a taste of local character.

  • TrainNew Mexico Rail Runner Express: This commuter train runs between Albuquerque and Santa Fe in about 1.5 to 2 hours. It’s a comfortable, budget-friendly way to travel — just check schedules in advance.

  • Shuttle Service: Groome Transportation and similar companies offer scheduled service between ABQ and Santa Fe (including hotels and the Groome office on Cerrillos Rd). Typical travel time is about 1.5 hours; advance reservations are recommended.

  • Bus: Several bus services connect Albuquerque with Santa Fe. Travel times vary by route and transfers, generally from 1 hour and 15 minutes up to 2 hours and 45 minutes.

  • Private car/taxi/rideshare: Private cars, taxis, or app-based rideshares like Uber/Lyft are available for direct service and usually take 1 to 2 hours, depending on traffic.

 

If you have any questions about transportation or need recommendations for specific services, please let us know — we’re always happy to help!

If my guest isn’t joining the event, do they need a ticket?

No ticket is needed for guests who are simply visiting Santa Fe but not attending the event itself! Your spouse, partner, friend, family member, or whoever is welcome to enjoy the local sights, relax at the hotel, or explore the city while you participate in Connect To Empower. Only those joining the actual conference sessions, workshops, or activities need to be registered and have a ticket.

​

​If your guest wishes to join you for any official event programming or meals, just let us know, and we’ll be happy to explain what options are available. Otherwise, they are free to enjoy Santa Fe as they wish!

Do I need to bring anything to class

You don’t need to worry about bringing any special supplies—all class materials will be provided for you! You will receive a notebook for taking notes, but we recommend bringing your favorite pen or preferred writing utensil for extra comfort.

 

If there’s anything you love to use for note-taking, feel free to bring it along. Otherwise, just come ready to learn and participate!

What if I need to cancel?

We understand that life happens! If you need to cancel your ticket to Connect To Empower 2025, please email us at info@susanlynnmedium.com. In your subject line, write "Cancel," and include your proof of purchase in the email.

​

Full refunds are available through September 15, 2025.
Partial refunds (50%) will be offered from September 16 through October 15, 2025.


No refunds can be given after October 15, 2025.


We encourage you to reach out as soon as possible if you need to cancel, so we can assist you promptly. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to see you at a future event!
